Troopers respond to fatal 2-vehicle crash at Manatee Creek Blvd and U.S. 41

SOUTHSIDE RURAL COMMUNITY, FL – Troopers were called to the scene of a fatal two-vehicle collision at Manatee Creek Blvd and U.S. 41 Friday, according to Tampa Bay Times.

The 77-year-old male driver of an SUV was on westbound Manatee Creek Blvd when he made a left turn onto U.S. 41 and into the path of a sedan operated by a 25-year-old woman at around 11:50 a.m.

First responders transported the 77-year-old man to a local hospital, where he died. All three occupants of the sedan suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Authorities have not released the names of those involved in the crash.
