BROOKSVILLE, FL – A driver died after colliding with a semi-truck’s trailer at FL 50 and Hale Ave Wednesday night, according to ABC Action News.
A 62-year-old man was driving a semi-truck on eastbound FL 50 when he made a U-turn at Hale Ave and came into the path of a sedan operated by a 38-year-old man driving West FL 50.
The sedan driver collided with the truck’s trailer around 11:15 p.m. Rescue crews pronounced him dead at the scene of the accident. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
The semi-truck driver was not hurt in the incident.
