DUNEDIN, FL – Deputies responded to a fatal motorcycle collision at Michigan Blvd and CR 1 Wednesday, according to Tampa Bay Times.
Cynthia Janssen, 58, was driving a Mercedes SUV on northbound CR 1 when she struck Bryan Rogers, 49, as she was making a left turn onto westbound Michigan Blvd at around 6 p.m. Rogers had a green light at the time of the collision.
First responders pronounced Rogers dead at the scene of the accident. Janssen was unharmed in the incident.
Authorities do not believe speed or impairment played a role in the wreck. It is unclear if Janssen was charged or cited for the accident.
