RUSKIN FL – A hit-and-run driver fatally struck a bicyclist Wednesday night, according to Tampa Free Press.
A school bus driver discovered the body around 7:15 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police believe the unidentified male victim was on eastbound Shell Point Rd approaching Interchange St when he was struck head-on by a vehicle sometime between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m.
The collision damaged the front passenger side of the suspect’s vehicle.
