MANGO, FL – A driver fatally rear-ended a vehicle at U.S. 92 and Mango Rd Tuesday, according to Fox 13.
At around 4:42 a.m., the 35-year-old male driver of a Jeep Wrangler failed to stop and rear-ended a Nisan Altima driven by a 23-year-old woman stopped at a red light.
First responders pronounced the passenger of the Nissan, a 19-year-old male, dead at the scene of the accident. The 23-year-old driver suffered minor injuries in the collision. Neither occupant of the Nissan was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
It is unclear if the Jeep driver will face any charges concerning the crash.
Authorities have not released the names of anyone involved in the incident.
