TAMPA, FL – According to WFLA, a woman believed to be impaired collided with a motorcyclist head-on while heading the wrong way down 30th St Saturday.
Hannah Lynn Peters was driving north on 30th St with a five-year-old child in the car when she strayed into the southbound lanes and struck the victim head-on at around 4 a.m.
Following the collision, Peters attempted to flee the area but was boxed in by officers responding to the crash. Authorities charged Peters with DUI with serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of a traffic crash with serious bodily injury, and child neglect. The child was not hurt in the collision.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the wreck.
