CLEARWATER, FL – Police in Clearwater tweeted that they are trying to find the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a teenage bicyclist.
The 16-year-old was hit Tuesday night while riding a bike in a crosswalk at the intersection of Keene Road and Flagler Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. The driver left the scene afterwards, driving what police believe was a black four-door sedan.
WFLA reports the teen was listed in critical but stable condition after being transported to All Children’s Hospital.
Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact Clearwater police detectives.
