David Atkins, Esq

David Atkins grew up in and around West Palm Beach, Florida. An avid athlete, Mr. Atkins graduated from Jupiter High School and would go on to play football at Kent State University, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice, cum laude.Mr. Atkins received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Toledo’s College of Law before moving to to New York City where he earned a Masters in International Affairs from the New School University’s Milano School of Policy, Management, and Environment. While obtaining his Masters, Mr. Atkins played soccer for the New School’s Varsity soccer team.Prior to joining Kemp Law Group, Mr. Atkins spent a bulk of his career practicing family law and defending numerous corporations, large insurance companies and their insureds in cases including property loss, personal injury, slip and fall accidents, premises liability, negligent security, product liability and wrongful death.A self-described “Policy Geek”, Mr. Atkins enjoys spending his free time reading early twentieth century literature and policy papers, traveling, playing soccer, and working out.
